Clarification of Operating result for Quarterly 2/2009

IRS.007/2009 August 13, 2009 To: Secretary - General The Office of Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand Subject: Clarification of Operating result for Quarterly 2/2009 Master Ad Plc. is the Out of Home Media providing OHM Solutions to the market. Its financial performances for Q2/09 were as follows; With Separate Financial Statement, sales revenue was 68.64 MB, decreasing by 20.10 MB or approximately equivalent to 23% decline compared to that of Q2/08. Net income of Q2/09 was 2.35 MB, dropping by 2.27 MB or 49.13 % lower when compares to net income of Q2/08. For Consolidated Financial Statement of Q2/09, sales revenue was 99.06 MB, decreasing by 21.21 MB or approximately equivalent to 17.63% decline compared to that of Q2/08. Net income of Q2/09 was 6.43 MB, dropping by 4.71 MB or 42.28% lower when compares to net income of Q2/08 The reasons for company's financial performance downside were the severe economic crises effects in the first half of this year. This situation had accordingly caused lessen advertising spending on company's large format billboards and advertising printing production which represented company's major revenue mainstream. In the meantime, sales and marketing expenses had been significantly higher than the same period in 2008 as a result of more intense competition. Please be kindly informed accordingly.
